Refund and Cancellation Policy

Last updated: October 2026

We would rather you stay because the service is good than because cancelling is hard. This page explains how cancellations and refunds work.

1. Cancelling a service

You can cancel any service from your control panel at any time. Cancelling stops future renewals. A service you have already paid for stays active until the end of the paid period, unless you ask for immediate termination.

2. Refunds

  • •If something is wrong with a service and we cannot fix it, open a billing ticket and we will review a refund for the affected period.
  • •Refund requests for a first-time purchase made in error are considered when raised promptly after purchase.
  • •Credits for downtime are governed by our Service Level Agreement.
  • •Domain registrations, third-party licences and one-off setup work are generally non-refundable once fulfilled, because we pay the underlying provider.

3. Account credit

Where a refund is approved it is returned to the original payment method where possible, or added to your account balance if you prefer. Account balance can be used on any HostingSwift service.

4. Abuse and policy violations

Services suspended or terminated for violating our Acceptable Use Policy are not eligible for a refund.

5. How to ask

Open a billing ticket from your account, or use the contact page, and include your invoice number. We reply to billing requests as quickly as we can and will explain our decision either way.
